A code is a starting point, not a diagnosis. The parts-store reader tells you a cylinder is misfiring; it doesn't tell you whether that's a coil, a plug, an injector or a vacuum leak. The diagnostic fee covers the time to actually find out, and it comes off the repair when you go ahead.
What we cover
- Check-engine, ABS, airbag, traction and transmission warning lights
- Drivability problems: rough idle, stalling, hesitation, poor fuel economy
- Electrical faults, parasitic battery drains and intermittent no-starts
- Emissions system faults including EVAP leaks and oxygen sensors
- Module programming and key coding on the makes we support
How it works
- Pull codes and freeze-frame data and save a report
- Test the suspected circuit or component with live data, a scope or a smoke machine as needed
- Call you with the cause, the fix and the price before touching anything
If the light comes back on after a repair we did, the re-check is on us.
