An oil change here takes about forty minutes because it isn't only an oil change. While the oil drains, Mark checks brakes through the wheels, tire wear and pressures, belts, hoses, fluids, lights, wipers and the battery, and writes down anything worth watching.
What's included
- Oil and filter to the manufacturer's spec (we stock 0W-20, 5W-20, 5W-30 and 0W-40 in conventional, blend and full synthetic)
- Top-up of washer fluid and other fluids
- Tire pressure set to the door-jamb spec, including the spare if it's reachable
- 30-point visual inspection with a written note of anything coming due
- Reset of the oil-life monitor and a reminder sticker
Maintenance by the book
Bring the owner's manual or tell us the mileage and we'll pull the factory schedule. Coolant, transmission fluid, differential and transfer-case services, spark plugs, cabin and engine filters: we do them when they're due, not on a wall chart.
Interval services on half-tons that tow or run gravel get shortened sensibly. Dust and short trips are hard on oil and filters, and we'll tell you what your vehicle is actually seeing.
